"A Wife's Testimonial" Transcript

You can tell when you go in there in a moment how caring they are, always touching an individual, putting their hand somewhere on their shoulder and just the caring that exudes from them is amazing. You know that kind of thing you wouldn’t see anywhere else.

Bob had been at a different facility prior to coming here. And even though he couldn’t express why it wasn’t a good fit, I thought it was when he initially went there, you could just tell it wasn’t. He sort of started acting out.

When someone does need to get outside and take a walk, it’s not “well ok we have to wait for 12-1 because that’s the courtyard time when they can sit outside”. Here they can just go out accompanied by a staff person and walk the grounds and be part of the beauty that it is out here.

Bob does come from a large family so I kind of feel like it might take him back to his early days of childhood. He’s the oldest of eleven and that’s sort of what goes on in there around the table, the commotion, and the people coming and going, and the kids and the couple dogs and cats…and you just get such a warm and wonderful feeling from it.

Knowing that he’s here is the next best thing or better than I could offer him.
